Can any of you fine people set up a filter to show stocks that are trading over 18 day MA last 30days,over 1000000 Avg vol,Williams -.75,.50-25 price.And draw MA9 / MA18 / MA 27.Thanks,Mike.....

Chet,this is the ultimate pullback filter for high momentum stocks.If you offset back 2-4 days,the pullbacks get better.If you wait for the stock to trade over the previous days high,you're entering into a trend continuation at the right time.If seen alot of pullback filters in my day,but this one cuts to the chase.Thanks for your help,Mike...

Mike,
Did some back testing for 2 weeks but I must be missing something in your approach. I look for newer highs the day after?
Day -1 results: DXO, ANPI, BEAV, ENTG, PGF
Day -2 results: MDR, TC, STEC, CTRP, TDC, ENTG - STEC winner
Day -3 results: GGB, VWO, MDR, CTRP, STEC, ANPI, MFC, IBN, TSL
So, one winner - STEC. Is my interpretation correct; looser, I need to check.

Sean,yes you enter only after the previous days high is broken.That could mean waiting a few more days after the filter shows stocks.If the stock sells off too far,its a scratch.There are no guarantees in the market.I never backtested or checked out any stats,but as you can see in the charts,they look good.The filter shows high momentum stocks,that had a good run,pulling back.Look at CTRP,TC,MDR,classic pullbacks....
