ACTUALLY THERE ARE NOW 3 ITEMS OF ADVANCEMENTNESS.
1) THE SIMPLEST, YOU CAN'T PLOT LONG ON SHORT. YOU NEED TO DO THIS SEPARATELY.
2) CAN'T USE THE SUM COMMAND. JUST USE THE + SYMBOL. LESS KEYSTROKES TOO.
3) YES, THE ABS FUNCTION IS VERY LIMITED. I CAN GET AROUND THE ABOVE 2, BUT THIS ABS THING IS A WHINY, SNIVELING CHILD.

tomm,
i know i kid around way too much in this forum. i want to thank you for all you contributions. i really appreciate your trying to write code for the mass'. i just want to ask you to please, don't dumb down your code. what you are trying to do has great value and should be taken to it's fruition.

Chetron, Thanks for the kind words. I've been a lurker on this forum for a while before I made my first post. I've went back and read through years of posts which I found to be more educational than any book you could buy. Members like you make this forum a pleasure to read and participate. I want to Thank You and many other SF'ites for your support, teaching, and patience.
