This is why I didn't want to be in XIV right now. I have contradicting indicators that basically say there is a chance it could go tween 101-110 for another dip before climbing. I have absolutely little doubt that this will go higher. First 130 then maybe 160s.

agree. looks like XIV will consolidate to either 105 (38% retrace from 13 week high) or lower, bottoming around the middle of the month...then the santa clause rally....

And that's a big problem when you're a trader, being stuck in trade that's tanked then having to become an investor. Knowing something will go up long term, then it tanks and you have to play the waiting game.
Should you get in early or wait to get in lower and risk missing a big move.
Patience or money management become your biggest assets and hurdles.
The market is not meant for humans.

it's not meant for humans because humans have emotions. I actually try to take a security like TMF right now..got the weekly crossover a couple days ago and i trade the spikes. Just sick of waiting for securities to come back
